Dear readers,

It is my great privilege to author and present this book to the reading community. I seriously have no words to say for the tremendous efforts put forth by my team as well as the honest support given by you folks! This book would have possibly been presented by your support itself. And I am indeed thankful for that.

On a personal note, I started writing books or stories just to satisfy my inner zeal and most importantly to improve my writing skill. As an output of this, people who knew me and especially a person, whom I would never forget, insisted that I portray my hidden skill to a wider reach. Hence, I decided to share my stories with the outer world. Especially bibliophiles and the recent teenagers who are getting slowly interested in the astounding world of literature. I am also happy to hear that nowadays, the youth community is getting interested in physical books rather than electronic media. I do agree that the number of such people is really limited. But, I strongly believe that this faction or group will grow at a much larger scale.

Various people always say life is an unplanned journey wherein you meet people at some point in time and then later you lose them either due to circumstances you are facing or you may decide to construct a barrier of silence between you and them. In the vast majority of cases, the people who you might think will stay with you forever, will leave your company sooner than you expect, and in some instances, people who come across in your life unexpectedly will end up sticking with you, until you finish your share of the journey. That is the most interesting part of life. You cannot predict what may happen to you in the next second!

In this journey, some construct a greater amount of dreams that may never get fulfilled, some might shatter their dreams by themselves due to lack of dedication or else due to an influence of a third person’s opinion. Some may end their journey in the middle by sacrificing themselves to the hands of death as their hopes and dreams didn’t get fulfilled whereas some might modify their desire in accordance to the present situation they are facing and they will lead their lives courageously. What I mean to say is that the choice of leading your life is within your hands itself. You can either take shortcuts or take detours. But the only difference in this type of journey is that there is no point in returning regarding whatever choices you make.

Money, fame, reputation, respect, and recognition are like remembrance badges in your journey. They add a bit of satisfaction and comfort until you reach your destination. But, in today’s generation, people are more concentrated on decor rather than the construction of the house. Meaning, people are more interested in earning money and fame as quickly as possible by hook or crook. While chasing these fetishes, people have started to forget relationships & social communications. Nowadays, relationships of siblings and even spouses exist on the temporary pillars of money and fame. Quality of love, care, and affection is fading slowly as time rolls down. This novel sheds light on a family located in Mumbai and the difficulties that the head sibling faces from his childhood until his old age. His sacrifices and hard work go in vain in the end. The plot gives a message that “even the people whom you consider of your own will leave you at a certain point of time. You came to this world alone, and you will indeed go alone itself”. The story also gives an essence about the survival of a family when the only person who is the source of income, unexpectedly dies. In today’s scenario, every bond between two or more individuals is intertwined with money itself. There is no place for the value of love, care, and affection due to which, innocent souls are getting harassed and tortured and then later, faded in time. Whereas, evil souls are currently having a firm grip on this world. Yes, I do agree that there should be some evil within you for your survival. But that shouldn’t destroy other individuals from an internal perspective. I hope you would have got an assumption of how the story might be framed and I would also expect that you would indeed like it.
